SBE has earned top 3 rankings for all bachelor’s programmes in Elsevier’s 2014 “Best Studies” issue, which was published last week.
SBE maintained the number one places for the bachelor’s programmes International Business and Fiscal Economics. The bachelor’s programme Economics and Business Economics holds its second place for the fifth year in a row. The bachelor’s programme Econometrics and Operations Research ranks third in the Netherlands and has a student satisfaction rate of 69%. Elsevier no longer ranks master’s programmes, but the student satisfaction rates for two of SBE’s MSc programmes are noteworthy: Financial Economics: 82% and Management of Learning: 78%
Seven bachelor’s programmes were ranked first: University College Maastricht, Fiscal Economics, International Business, Tax Law, European Law School, European Studies and Knowledge Engineering. Four programmes are ranked among the top three: Dutch Law, Economics & Business Economics, Health Sciences and Econometrics & Operations Research.
For the third year in a row, Elsevier has also published results for the master’s programmes. As it is not always possible to compare master’s programmes, national comparisons were only made for six programmes. Of those six, three UM master’s were ranked first: Dutch Law, European Studies and Psychology. The master Physician-Clinical Investigator ranked second and Tax Law in the third position.
Maastricht University is ranked second best specialised university in The Netherlands.
