What does knowledge taste like?

Preferring fresh knowledge over sunbathing, over one hundred participants coming from several organisations throughout the Maastricht region visited the Taste of Knowledge event (Kennisproeverij in Dutch) at SBE on 7 June.

On the menu for this seventh edition, three seminars led by Jan Cobbenhagen, Roel Meijers en Steven de Haas and a fresh platter introduced this year: the Speakers’ Corner. This new element in our programme offers the opportunity to an alumnus of one of our executive programmes to share his/her knowledge and experiences with other professionals.

Frans Wilms, member of the board of Radar, was the first to participate in the Speakers’ Corner and share his insights on leadership.
“We have been working together with Radar for many years now,” said Maurice Olivers, Director Executive Education. “It is good to see how learning experiences are being transferred to every day practices. New knowledge and experiences are being shared and passion derives from this. Frans Wilms is the living example of this process.”

The Taste of Knowledge Event is a free event for professionals who want to share and at the same time, gain knowledge.

Mark your agenda for the fall edition of our “Kennisproeverij” on 29 November 2013!

In the meantime you are welcome to register for two other inspiring seminars:

1. The first Open Air Masterclass, “The Jazz of Entrepeneurship”, will be organised in co-operation with Hogeschool Zuyd in our garden on 4 September. It will show what managers can learn from Jazz musicians.

2. A seminar on the topic “How to connect the different generations in your organisation” , led by Menno Lanting, author of the popular books Connect, Everyone CEO and the Smart Organisation and Martin Lammers, Maastricht University HR Director.
