Prof. Harry Hummels receives APEC Award for contribution to Impact Investing

On Friday, 14 December Prof. Dr Harry Hummels (Finance) received the Amsterdam Private Equity Club (APEC) Award for his contribution to the emerging field of Impact Investing.

By awarding Harry Hummels, the APEC board recognizes the importance of Impact Investing as a new and promising kid on the investment block.

What is impact investing?

In Luxembourg – after the US the second largest investment fund market in the world – asset managers, institutional investors and family offices take an interest in the developing field of Impact investing. In early December Prof. Hummels gave a keynote speech at an international seminar on Impact Investing hosted by PwC Luxembourg, in which he explained the relevance of impact investing for investors.
