For its MSc International Business programme the SBE scores 1st place. This evaluation guide to Dutch universities and institutions of higher education produces a ranking that is based on student opinions (66,7 % of the final result) as well as on experts’ opinion (responsible for 33,3 % of the final result). As a whole, Maastricht University scores a 3rd place in the list of best universities.
The master’s programmes of the School of Business and Economics were ranked as follows:
International Business (IB) scores highest on ambition and level of the programme. Other categories such as the quality of staff, preparation for the labour market, contact* and facilities score high. Experts give high praise to this programme: “Maastricht is the best in providing international education at a very high level”.
International Economics Studies scores, among others, high on content of the programme, exams and assessments, contact* and facilities. The experts state: “Students who want to focus on an international career can choose Maastricht”.
The master’s programme Management of Learning (MOL) scores best on contact*. Other categories that the MOL programme does well in are content of the programme, skills taught, teaching staff, preparation for the labour market, and exams, assessments and study load. According to the experts “The Management of Learning programme is doing well: the programme content, skills taught, teaching staff as well as preparation for the labour market are good”.
Maintaining a high standard in education has always been a key issue in SBE’s strategic programme, and rankings are a perfect means to show the world how well SBE is doing.
