From 10 April to 13 April 2011 Maastricht University School of Business and Economics will be the venue for the 20th annual IPSERA conference.
With twenty years of developing, presenting, discussing and sharing knowledge on Purchasing and Supply Management, the central theme for this year’s conference is “Vision 20/20 – Preparing today for tomorrow’s challenges”.
Keynote speakers are Kenneth K. Boyer (Professor of Operations Management, Ohio State University and co-editor in chief of the Journal of Operations Management), Jos Visser (Director Global Procurement Direct Materials SABIC (Saudi Basic Industry Corporation)) and Wouter Vermijs (Director Feedstock SABIC).
The IPSERA (International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association) conference aims to bring top academics and industry practitioners together to discuss the latest knowledge regarding purchasing and supply chain management.
Representatives of the business world will take a special interest in the NEVI CPD seminar that will take place on Monday 11 April, and will find the academic papers presented valuable as well (please refer to the conference programme for further details).
The event will welcome a group of renowned international researchers from amongst others, Europe, US, Canada, Australia and South Africa.
The conference is the most important conference for purchasing academics.
The purpose of the conference is to offer a productive platform to exchange research ideas. About 120 papers will be presented in 5 parallel sessions.
