Maastricht Entrepreneurship Day

Would you like to renew or expand your network? Gain knowledge or get inspired? Then register now for the Maastricht Entrepreneurship Day that is held on Friday 16 April from 15.30 hrs to 19.30 hrs at the main SBE building (Tongersestraat 53).

This interactive meeting is organised especially for alumni, entrepreneurs, managers and ambitious employees, during Maastricht University’s unique Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week. Jointly organised by UM Language Centre, InterUm Studentjobs, MC4E, MKB Portal, Development & Alumnirelations, SBE Business Relations, Student Service Centre and Postgradute Education, the event allows you to design your own programme. Take one of the educational master classes or share your experiences with others afterwards during the network drinks.
Programme

  • 15.30 hrs: Reception and registration
  • 16.00 hrs: Welcome speech and introduction by Fred Brouns, coordinator of Maastricht University Campus Venlo
  • 16.30 hrs  – 18.00 hrs: Master classes (choose one of the following)
  1. The Language of Meetings by Clive Lawrence, teacher at UM Language Centre (language: English)
  2. Chances for synergy by Erik Joosten, Manager of Arion (language: Dutch)
  3. How to use bad economic times to your advantage by Maurits Horbach, alumnus of the School of Business & Economics (language: Dutch)
  4. Are you an entrepreneur… or not? by Job Franken, author of various management books (language: Dutch)
  5. Brand management in a virtual world by Gwen Noteborn, ICT Innovation Manager School of Business and Economics (language: English)
  6. Service Science factory by Paul Iske, Director of Dialogues Incubator at ABN AMRO, consultant and Professor Innovation & Entrepreneurship (language: English)
