Lena Sablotny, Daniel Moll, Martin Rezaie Ahvanouie, Clemens Happ. Students at the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. Together with their counsellors Rudy Baethge and Bas van Diepen they did it again, and put SBE on the map.
The Case Competition in Copenhagen is one of the best in the world, yet the very strong teams present were no match for the SBE foursome. Our students addressed the Tivoli case extremely well and delivered a powerful presentation, resulting in an undisputed victory. At SBE we must be doing something right, surely!
In fact, we are pretty much convinced that we do. It is on occasions like this that our problem based education in small groups really comes through and proves its worth. Employers can profit from this education method by hiring SBE graduates: the added value should become clear in no time.
As if the wonderful result in Copenhagen was not enough, we also received high scores in the MBA ranking charts. Spring is finally in the air!
